Laser & Energy Treatments
Laser Hair Removal
This treatment uses Candela’s GentleMax Pro laser device to target active hair follicles and reduce unwanted hair long-term. It works on most skin types and typically requires a series of sessions, often six to twelve treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, with possible maintenance needed later on. Minor redness and swelling may occur, but usually resolve quickly, and hair may appear to “grow” then shed as follicles are expelled. Laser hair removal works only on hair with pigment; it doesn’t work on blond or gray hair.
IPL Treatment (Intense Pulsed Light Photofacial)
IPL is a non-laser light therapy that delivers broad-spectrum pulses of light to treat skin concerns like sunspots, redness, pigmentation, and early signs of aging. We use Candela’s Noordlys IPL platform to deliver powerful results quickly & safely. It is gentler than many laser treatments and typically has little to no downtime, making it suitable for those wanting rejuvenation without major recovery. Sessions are relatively brief, lasting around 30 minutes, and results typically build over multiple visits.
Nordlys Fractional Resurfacing
Using the Candela Nordlys 1550 or 1940 fractional non-ablative laser, this treatment addresses skin concerns, including sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, surgical scars, trauma scars, stretch marks, uneven tone, and texture. Patients typically experience skin that feels like a mild sunburn for the next day or two, with little downtime, and improvements in tone and texture after a few treatments.
Nordlys Light & Bright Treatment
The Nordlys Light and Bright treatment is a combination of IPL & Frax 1550 used for clearing broken blood vessels, reducing pigmentation, reducing fine lines and pores, improving tone, and restoring a glow.
Capillary Reduction
This treatment focuses on reducing visible capillaries, broken blood vessels, or redness caused by vascular lesions using light or laser-based devices. Depending on the type of vessels & their location, we would typically use either Nordlys IPL or GentleMax Pro’s Alexandrite (Alex) and Nd:YAG lasers.
Sublative RF Microneedling
This is a fractional radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment that uses RF energy delivered via an array of multi-electrode pins, rather than traditional needles, to penetrate the skin and stimulate collagen, improve skin texture, even tone, and reduce signs of aging or scarring. It is in high demand due to its minimal downtime requirements and its safety across various skin types.
Sublime RF Skin Tightening
The Sublime RF treatment at KHROM MEDSPA & WELLNESS combines radiofrequency energy with infrared light to heat the dermis and stimulate collagen production, helping to tighten lax skin, reduce wrinkles, and refresh the appearance in a non-surgical, non-invasive manner.
Profound Skin Tightening
This is a minimally invasive treatment combining microneedling with long-pulse RF energy to firm and tighten skin, especially around the face and neck (including the jawline and jowls). It encourages production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid and may achieve in one session what other treatments do in three.
Laser Rejuvenation Facial
This facial treatment uses laser energy to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin, improving tone, texture, and luminosity while minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. Also known as “Laser Genesis”, it’s a lighter version of laser treatment compared to full laser resurfacing, designed for rejuvenation with reduced downtime.
Brilliant Glow
This is a gentle, little to no downtime treatment, also known as baby frax, or Clear & Brilliant. Brilliant Glow uses non-ablative 1940 resurfacing to refresh the skin, improve texture & pigment, and improve overall appearance.
Dual Glow
A signature treatment at KHROM MEDSPA & WELLNESS, known as the Dual Glow, combines 2 fractional resurfacing wavelengths of 1550 & 1940 to effectively resurfacing the skin, addressing dullness, fine lines, wrinkles, pores, pigment, acne marks, and uneven skin tone. It can have a little more down time than single wavelength frax, but produce superior results in a single session.
Light & Glow
Another signature combo treatment is offered, combining IPL & Brilliant Glow (gentle or baby frax), specifically designed to brighten the skin and add a healthy glow by targeting pigmentation, broken blood vessels, tone irregularities, and overall skin radiance.
PICO Genesis Skin Rejuvenation
The PICO Genesis treatment utilizes picosecond laser technology to rejuvenate the skin, often targeting pigment and melasma, and improving tone and clarity with very short pulse durations for minimal downtime.
PicoWay Laser Acne Scar Treatment
Using the PicoWay laser platform, this treatment addresses acne scars by using ultra-fast pulses of laser energy to break down scar tissue and stimulate skin remodeling and healing, enhancing overall skin texture and reducing scar visibility.
PicoWay Laser Pigmentation Removal
This treatment uses the PicoWay laser’s high-energy picosecond pulses to target pigmentation (like sunspots, age spots, and melasma), breaking pigment particles for removal by the body and resulting in a more even tone.
PicoWay Laser Tattoo Removal
The PicoWay laser is also used for tattoo removal, utilizing ultra-short pulses to break up tattoo ink particles, allowing them to be cleared by the body, and enabling the removal of small, medium, or large tattoos.
Morpheus8 Face, Neck, & Body Tightening Treatment
This treatment uses a combined microneedling and radiofrequency device (called Morpheus8) to tighten & rejuvenate skin on the face, neck, and body. It penetrates to controlled depths, stimulating collagen while improving skin laxity, contour, and textural issues. It’s especially effective at tightening loose skin on the abdomen post pregnancy, or reducing cellulite & tightening the skin on the butt & thighs.
Revian Red Hair Growth System
This is a non-laser photobiomodulation treatment system for hair growth. The Revian Red system uses light therapy (specifically red and near-infrared wavelengths) to stimulate hair follicles to improve hair density and thickness in patients experiencing hair thinning or early hair loss.
