Tatiana Khrom – Board-certified dermatologist

Dr. Tatiana Khrom is fellowship-trained, and board certified in dermatology. She provides a full range of cosmetic and surgical dermatological services.

Dr. Khrom’s birthplace is Ukraine, and she came to the United States in 1988 with her family. Her commitment and natural skills were evident early on, as she earned a dual major in biochemistry and philosophy from New York University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Next, she attended SUNY Downstate School of Medicine, where she was at the top of her graduating class and was invited to the exclusive Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society.

Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Khrom completed a year-long internal medicine internship with Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Next, she went on to SUNY Downstate Medical Center where she served her dermatology residency. She was invited to the United States Procedural Dermatology’s prestigious Graduate Medical Education fellowship program, during which she trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic surgery, facial reconstruction, and advanced laser surgery techniques. She was selected to be among the first participants in the groundbreaking program, due to her outstanding achievements.

Dr. Khrom is proud to be one of just a few hundred national trainers with Allergan, the makers of Botox, Juvéderm, Kybella, and other injectables. As an Allergan trainer, Dr. Khrom trains other clinicians on how to safely and effectively use these products for optimal results.

Currently, Dr. Khrom sees patients at her private practices, as well as New York University Lutheran Medical Center where she is an attending physician. She has a sterling reputation in New York and beyond, known for her exceptional skill and in-depth knowledge. Additionally, she is a national presenter, as well the author of multiple medical textbook chapters and research articles.

Elena Chyzh, NP

Elena is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Aesthetic Medicine. Having been with Dr. Khrom since 2010, she was instrumental in the inception of Khrom Aesthetics, when it was just a small branch of Khrom Dermatology. Elena earned her master’s in nursing in May 2019. While she explored family and internal medicine in her pursuit of education, it was aesthetics that always had her heart!

Elena’s extensive experience in Cosmetic Dermatology, coupled with her passion aesthetic and anti-aging enhancements, allows her to achieve excellent results for her patients. Elena focuses on overall health and wellness, as well as feeling confident about the skin you’re in. She will assess your needs during a comprehensive consultation to determine what course of treatment will help you achieve your goals.

She is a member of the Dermatology Nurse Association (DNA) and the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses (ASPSN), giving her access to all the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine.

Elena speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Greek, which allows her to provide the same high level of care for a wide range of patients regardful of their cultural background and need.

Elvira Bulbakh, RN, BSN

Elvira has a cool, calm and collected energy that will make you feel at ease from the moment you meet her. She has known that she will connect her life with medicine since she was a little girl. Elvira graduated from Nursing School with honors, being a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and National Society of Leadership. Elvira is licensed by the State of New York as a Registered Professional Nurse.

Her brilliant esthetic eye and attention to detail ensure that patients get correct evaluation and the appropriate treatment plan to achieve their beauty goals. Elvira will go above and beyond to makes sure that you receive the most comfortable and professional experience with KHROM MEDSPA & WELLNESS. Elvira has been attending a number of professional trainings and has been trained under the mentorship of Dr. Khrom.

Alla Shimunova, RN

Alla is a highly skilled aesthetic nurse injector with a passion for helping clients achieve their beauty goals. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Pima Medical Institute, specializing in cosmetic dermatology. She is certified in various advanced injection techniques. In addition to her educational background, Alla stays updated with the latest trends and techniques in aesthetic medicine through regular training and workshops.

She has a keen eye for detail and a gentle touch, ensuring optimal results and client satisfaction. Outside of her professional life, Alla enjoys dancing, hiking in the mountains, experimenting with new recipes, or playing chess. With her expertise and dedication, Alla strives to empower patients to look and feel their best, enhancing their natural beauty with subtle yet transformative enhancements.

Dina Kanatova, Medical Aesthetician

Dina is an experienced state-licensed esthetician and certified phlebotomist with years of experience in different medical spas in New York.

She is proficient in using laser technology to perform minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. Knowledgeable Coolsculpting and VelaShape specialist who helps to create unique treatment regimens to get desired results.

Dina consistently exceeds clients’ expectations. She is recognized for a gentle, soothing touch with a pleasant attitude. She is presently a nursing school student.

Shakira Akhmedova, Medical Aesthetician

Shakira is New York State Licensed Esthetician, laser technician and phlebotomist.

She has years of experience in aesthetics & laser treatments. Shakira is an expert on all skin tones, she uses advance aesthetic techniques to help clients achieve the desired results.

Shakira is always eager to learn about the latest technologies and trends in aesthetic industry as she constantly strives to grow as a skincare therapist and a medical aesthetician. She always makes sure to educate her patients on the treatment performed, on the skincare regiment to support long-lasting results and you’d definitely want to come back and see her again!

Elizabeth Saviou, Medical Aesthetician

Elizabeth has been in the Aesthetic industry for over 4 years.

Her passion for aesthetics and the personalized treatment journeys she creates with each of her patients are what she is the proudest of. She specializes in body contouring and skin corrective treatments.

Elizabeth is a huge foodie, so she loves trying out new restaurants around the city and loves testing out new recipes at home. She also loves traveling and tries to visit at least one new place around the world each year.

Elizabeth looks forward to taking the next step in your skincare and self-love journey with you!

Ksenia Salamone-McDevitt, Practice Manager

Ksenia is the smiley face of the office. Her top priority is to ensure an exceptional patient experience for all! She is very responsible, cheerful, multitalented and a result-oriented person.

Ksenia says, that the best part of her job is getting to interact with different people, which never gets boring since no two days are the same at KHROM MEDSPA & WELLNESS.

Vanessa Betancourt, Patient Coordinator

We are fortunate to benefit from the efficiency and knowledge of Vanessa as a patient coordinator.

She assists clients with all types of needs, from arranging appointments to helping you find great deals. She also assists patients in finding the best treatment and provider for their specific needs or preferences.

She is known for her kindness, excellent fashion sense, and organizational skills.

Vanessa is bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English.

Erika Perez Diaz, Patient Coordinator

Erika loves to aid clients by helping them select the best treatments for them, she will accommodate clients’ booking needs and delivers exceptional customer service.

She is happy to answer patients’ questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns, and make each visit positive.

It is important to her that each patient enjoys a feeling of ease and confidence in our office.

She loves to swim. She is friendly, honest, and creative.

Polina Pittar, Patient Coordinator

Polina is working at both the front and back of the office. She is happy to provide exceptional, comfortable service, patient care and truly making a difference in someone’s smile and life.

Polina is very efficient, honest, kind, loyal, and bubbly.

Outside of the office, Polina enjoys going shopping, exploring the outdoors, and going to the gym.

Eliso Rixner, Medical Assistant

As a valued member of the KHROM MEDSPA & WELLNESS family, Eliso began her career as a Patient Coordinator. Soon after, she also started assisting our Medical Team during aesthetic treatments. In this role, Eliso learned about our treatment and product offerings.

She is a very detail-oriented and easy-going person who ensures every patient is provided with top-notch customer service from the first phone call or visit!

Eliso loves animals, and she’s a proud cat mom of two.
